Content from external sources belongs to its respective creators, and Counsel Cafe claims no ownership over it. We utilize such third-party materials in accordance with fair use rules under Indian copyright regulations and relevant laws elsewhere. For all other content, Counsel Cafe maintains copyright. Without our explicit written approval, no portion of the platform’s information, resources, or services may be replicated, shared, posted, or otherwise distributed.

User Content

When you contribute any form of material—such as text, images, audio, videos, graphics, links, or other data (collectively referred to as “Content”)—to our platform, including forums, discussions, feedback, or submissions, you affirm to Counsel Cafe that:
You possess full ownership or the necessary permissions to use, transfer, or license this Content;
The material adheres to these terms, avoids infringing on third-party rights (like copyrights, trademarks, or privacy), steers clear of promoting restricted items (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, or adult content, as defined solely by Counsel Cafe), and remains legal, non-harmful, and non-offensive;
Its use or sharing won’t breach any regulations;
It contains no falsehoods or deceptive elements; and
Both the Content and any associated products or services comply with all pertinent laws, including those in India and your location.

By providing Content, you acknowledge it may appear immediately on the platform or related services, and you grant Counsel Cafe a global, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license (including sublicensing rights) to utilize, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and create derivatives of it in connection with our offerings.

Disclaimer

Counsel Cafe is not equipped to handle urgent medical or mental health crises, such as suicidal ideation, self-harm risks, or severe disorders like schizophrenia. For such situations, seek immediate in-person assistance from a nearby hospital or emergency service, where you can consult a social worker, counsellor, or therapist directly. Involve trusted family or friends for support if needed. This applies to all health emergencies.

User Agreement

Engaging with our services, products, or resources means you confirm: (i) You are 18 or older, capable of contracting under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and able to make independent choices; or (ii) If under 18, your parent or guardian consents to the services and agrees to these terms. You (or the guardian) accept this User Agreement, along with linked policies. Review it thoroughly—it’s binding upon use, including on devices like phones or tablets.
We can update, add, or remove parts of this agreement anytime without notice. Your ongoing use implies acceptance of changes; it’s your duty to check periodically.
You recognize that assigned professionals work remotely, possibly not in your area, but are licensed in India. These services support empowerment, not formal diagnosis, treatment, or regulated therapy. For crises like abuse or severe conditions, contact local emergency lines immediately.
This agreement covers all users—browsers, vendors, customers, contributors—and overrides prior communications. It applies to current and future interactions with Counsel Cafe.

Terms of Use

You agree to these usage rules:

• Be 18+ and legally competent (or have guardian consent if under 18), ensuring compliance with all laws;
• Provide truthful, current registration details and keep them updated;
• Limit use to personal, non-commercial purposes only;
• Refrain from altering, reverse-engineering, or dismantling content;
• Avoid removing or changing notices, copyrights, trademarks, or disclaimers without permission;
• Not engage in illegal activities or harm to the platform, company, or others;
• Prohibit copying, selling, or exploiting services without written consent;
• Prevent uploading viruses, malware, or disruptive elements;
• Note that external links are not under our control—we’re not liable for them, though we may disable them;
• Pay fees promptly, with potential charges for delays;
• Verify technical needs before bookings;
• Avoid sharing content that’s unauthorized, misleading, offensive, or threatening to India’s security or public order;
• Not access services from countries where local laws prohibit it (outside India).

Prohibited Uses

Beyond other restrictions, you must not:

• Pursue illegal activities or encourage them;
• Breach laws or infringe on intellectual property;
• Harass, defame, or discriminate;
• Submit false data or malware;
• Collect others’ information without consent;
• Spam or interfere with security.
  We may end your access for violations.

User Forums, Topics, Replies, Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions

Submitting ideas, suggestions, or materials (e.g., via email, social media, or contests) allows us to edit, publish, or use them freely without compensation or confidentiality obligations. All therapy-related communications remain private per laws. Don’t seek personal contacts through the platform. Your submissions must respect third-party rights and avoid unlawful content. We may monitor, edit, or remove items at our discretion but aren’t required to. We hold no liability for user-generated content or investigations. Views in posts or articles are authors’ own, not Counsel Cafe’s.

Payment and Refunds

You consent to upfront payments and automatic deductions for accessed features, plus any incurred phone or internet costs. See our Payment section for details—we may update it without notice. Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which we can revise anytime.

Privacy Policy

Platform use is governed by our Privacy Policy—review it carefully. We may modify it without notice.

Limitation of Liability

We don’t assure registration acceptance or specific outcomes from services. As a connector, we’re not liable for professional advice, session availability, or decisions made. Professionals are independent contractors; we verify credentials but aren’t responsible for inaccuracies. Services are “as is”—no guarantees on accuracy, security, or error-free operation. We’re not liable for third-party tools, links, or content. Historical info may be outdated; monitoring changes is your responsibility. We comply only with Indian laws and aren’t liable for foreign non-compliance. Dual relationships with professionals are prohibited. You indemnify us against losses from your use.

Disclaimer on Warranties

Interactions with professionals are between you and them—we disclaim all warranties on services, including accuracy or fitness. Third-party tools are provided “as is” without endorsement. We incorporate external services at your risk.

Indemnification

You agree to protect Counsel Cafe, its affiliates, and personnel from claims arising from your breaches, violations, or data issues, including via third parties.

Termination of Agreement

You can end this agreement after settling payments—contact support@counselcafe.in or your organization for account deletion (processed within 14 days per policy). We may terminate without reason, with payments due within 30 days. Pre-termination obligations survive.

Entire Agreement

This forms the full understanding, superseding priors. Non-enforcement isn’t a waiver.

Severability

Invalid provisions don’t affect others; they’re enforced as possible.

Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

We may correct errors or cancel orders without notice, with no duty to update info unless legally required.

Grievance Redressal

Jurisdiction

Disputes fall under Indian laws and exclusive Bangalore, India courts.
